Eat the Lord's Food to Take the Land!

Pastor Linda Warren speaks from Joshua 5: 10-12 about the first Passover meal the Israelites celebrated in the Promised Land as we continue in the "Taking the Land" series.  Pastor Linda calls the congregation to eat the Lord's food -- which means to do the Lord's will.  She also leads in  Communion.

Pastor Jim Warren opens with musical worship.  Pastor Rachel Taylor prays for the message and the offering.

Pastor Joyce Swingle explains the origins of Valentine's Day and preaches on the intriguing incident that resulted in the Hill of Foreskins mentioned in Joshua 5:1-9. If you've ever wondered what that was all about, check out Pastor Joyce's discoveries. She also shares her testimony of how the Lord helped her grow after she started her relationship with Him.

Rich Swingle opens the service. He mentions that the latest Treasure Seekers episode is now available below this post on www.WestchesterChapel.org under our Welcome. Though we're not going to post our Annual Meeting, those of you who were there heard Pastor Jim Warren talk about how we're swimming against the "fish" of this world.

The opening credits for The Chosen, the excellent series based on the life of Jesus and his disciples, captures this same concept:

Follow God to Take the Land!

Pastor Rachel Taylor exhorts us to follow the Lord as the Israelites did in Joshua 3 in order to take the land, as we continue our series.
Pastor Jim Warren opens the service with an encouragement to count on the Lord for His Power and Might, using the example of how Jesus fed the 5,000 with two fish and five loaves of bread (Luke 9: 10-17; Matt. 14:13-21; Mark 6: 30-44; John 6: 1-14).
