Several from Westchester Chapel visited Nazareth Village while performing and teaching in Jordan and Israel. They have a synagogue set up as it likely was in Jesus' day, and the scroll of Isaiah is unrolled to Chapter 61.

It's not on the video, but during our sharing time Rich mentioned a short film he worked on at the Rocky Mountain Christian Filmmakers Camp about a fictional app that will call the trained to speak of the hope that is within those too afraid to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and share. Here's that film:
Here's the video Rich mentioned that has more details about Will Ford and Matt Lockett:
And for even more details you can get their book, The Dream King, at www.DreamStreamCo.com, where you can also find out more about the ministries of Will Ford and Matt Lockett.
Pastor Joyce Swingle explains the origins of Valentine's Day and preaches on the intriguing incident that resulted in the Hill of Foreskins mentioned in Joshua 5:1-9. If you've ever wondered what that was all about, check out Pastor Joyce's discoveries. She also shares her testimony of how the Lord helped her grow after she started her relationship with Him.
Rich Swingle opens the service. He mentions that the latest Treasure Seekers episode is now available below this post on www.WestchesterChapel.org under our Welcome. Pastor Joyce mentions Rich's one-person sketch called "The Covenant Keeper." You can find out more about that at www.RichDrama.com/ShortPieces.
Though we're not going to post our Annual Meeting, those of you who were there heard Pastor Jim Warren talk about how we're swimming against the "fish" of this world.

Pastor Linda mentions that there are hundreds of prophecies that were fulfilled by Jesus Christ. Here are more prophecies and how Jesus fulfilled them: Bible Prophecies Fulfilled by Jesus.
Between the Scripture readings and Pastor Linda's teaching, we sing carols that celebrate the fulfillment of those prophecies. In the service we sang to modern adaptations of classic carols, but our CCLI license does not allow for sharing recordings of copyrighted material online, so because the carols were such an integral element of the service, Rich Swingle recorded carols that are in the public domain. If you'd like to sing along, click this link for the lyrics.

Pastor Joyce Swingle preaches on Matthew 1:18-25. Matthew, the despised tax collector, lived a life of shame, and he highlighted the great shame Joseph took upon himself by marrying a woman who was already bearing a child not his own. Pastor Joyce mentioned Views of the Manger, her husband Rich Swingle's play, and two stories it portrays: Joseph's choice of obedience (today's main passage) and Abram nearly walking between the cut animals when God promised to be the Covenant Keeper (Genesis 15). She also told the story of her heart failure in 2005. You can visit the blog the Swingles kept during that frightening season.
