Speak the Gospel with Power!

Pastor Jim Warren preached on Acts 4:23-31.

While people were logging onto our video conference service we invited them to share Scriptures that have been helping them through this season, and here's what we all came up with:

• Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understandings. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
• For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
• Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
• When they were released, they went to their friends… Acts 4:23a
• He makes me lie down in green pastures. Psalm 23:2
• As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. Genesis 50:20
• Do not worry. (summary of Matthew 6:25-27)
• Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High, and call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” Psalm 50:14-15
• O Magnify the Lord with me , let us exalt his Name together. Psalm 34:3
• In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33
• And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10
• Thou Art with me. Psalm 23:4
• ...but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
