You're nearer to seeing Jesus than ever before

Pastor Jim Warren preaches on Romans 13: 11-14. In a culture where the concept of shame is becoming a thing of the past, Pastor Jim gives insight into walking in right relationship with the One who gave his all so that we can live eternal life now, reflecting his holiness through our lives.

The giving of shoe boxes to Operation Christmas Child was led by John and Adrienne C. Here's the profoundly moving video they shared...

The opening and closing call to pray and fast for protection on our nation and reading from Joel 2:12-17 are by Pastor Joyce Swingle. Pray about what kind of fast the Lord is calling you to do between now and Thanksgiving, and you can click here to read an article on fasting by GROWTH Journal.

in Aman, Jordan.
At the very moment Pastor Jim said, "You're nearer to seeing Jesus than ever before," Jesus walked in the door, played by actor Rich Swingle, who had just come from Treasure Seekers, where he had portrayed Jesus for the children of Westchester Chapel.

The closing prayer is by Adrienne C.

  1. "...It is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their
    dependence upon the overruling power of God; to confess their
    sins and transgressions in humble sorrow, yet with assured
    hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon;
    and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy
    Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only
    are blessed whose God is the Lord..."
