The Helper Is Coming

Rev. Dr. Linda Warren launched our new sermon series, “Moving into the Holy Spirit’s Gifts,” preaching on John 14:15-17. Pastor Joyce Swingle reminded us of past sermon series. She also announced that our leadership Bible study is looking at the Tabernacle as a model for carrying the Lord's presence in our generation, and she prayed over our board.

Pastor Jim Warren opened the service with the announcement that the Sword of the Spirit has been found! It was missing last week during his teaching on The Armor of God. Rich Swingle read Hebrews 4:12-13, Ezekiel 36:24-28 and Jeremiah 31:31-34. Agnes G. read Acts 2:32-33 and 36-38.
