Keep Your Eyes on Jesus

Drama Evangelist Rich Swingle exhorts the congregation to keep their eyes on Jesus -- not on the storm or fear around them -- as he illustrates Matthew 14: 22-33 with a video reenactment of Peter walking on the water.

The video was shot in Israel in 2011 while on the Sea of Galilee. You can see it below.

Rich also sings Rich Mullins' song I See You and plays a music video Sanctify My Life from Rich's film A Matter of Perspective. You can see the music video below.

Pictured below is the family farm to which Rich refers; he also refers to his one-man play about 911 called 5 Bells for 911.

Prepare While We Shelter!

Pastor Joyce Swingle shares from Acts 1 how the disciples used their time of sheltering to prepare through prayer, fellowship and organizational healing.  She encourages the congregants to use this sacred time of sheltering to prepare as persons and as a people for the mission of building God's Kingdom on earth.

Illustrating the unique times we are living in, Pastor Joyce shared this weekday view of the usually busy 42nd Street in Manhattan.
Drama Evangelist Rich Swingle opened in prayer.

Restored by the Expert

Pastor Jim Warren urges us to receive restoration  just as Jesus restored Peter in John 21: 1-8. This fill-in-the-blank form helps us see the steps of restoration that Jesus took Peter through. You'll ace the test once you hear the sermon, but if you'd like to check your answers, their in the comments below...

Board Member Tom M. reads John 21: 1-8. Pastor Jim sets the scene by reading John 18: 25-27.

Pastor Linda Warren opens in prayer.  Drama Evangelist Rich Swingle reads excerpts from Psalm 145 during the offering.

Pastor Jim refers to the first miraculous catch of fish that Peter witnessed. You can see that dramatized in this scene from The Chosen:

Good Friday Service

Pastor Joyce Swingle put together a script of the story of Christ's Passion taken from all four Gospels, and she and Drama Evangelist Rich Swingle recorded a dramatic reading, illustrated with works of classic artists over a music bed by John Fornof. This was conceived and performed live for the Good Friday service at Westchester Chapel Church of the Nazarene, April 10, 2020.

We're revising it and will repost it later.

Prayers for Redemption and Rest

Pastor Joyce and Rich Swingle have occasionally had restless nights during this pandemic, and they knew others are having the same issue. So they recorded these prayers and put them over a bed of music created by their friend Paula Kasica and her musical colleague, David Hadden. The piece is entitled, "Rest." We hope it blesses you at eventide.

Hit the arrow to play, or if you're getting this in an email you can hear them and future prayers we're hoping to post at www.RichDrama.com/Prayers.
